Jeff’s Review:
Four and a half stars

This picture got a bit of a rough ride, anything that becomes massively popular does. But it got massively popular for a reason. John Hughes was a genius, Chris Columbus is fantastic, Catherine O’Hara is a National and International treasure, Macaulay Culkin did precocious better than anyone at the time. Sure, they milked it again in Home Alone 2, then 3, then 4 and now there’s even a 5, but that’s not fair, what happens after a movie shouldn’t count when judging the movie. Home Alone is a great movie.
